Strategy, execution and measurable delivery
Hossam Ahmed Zein is a senior technology executive with 14+ years of progressive leadership across government, energy, industrial and multinational environments. Founding CTO of a diversified holding group, he converts board-level strategy into funded, measurable systems — from national mega-projects to production GenAI platforms.
Professional profile
As Chief Technology Officer and founding executive at Ebda Holding, Hossam sets group strategy with the executive team, built the corporate operating model, and owns investment, budget and performance accountability across manufacturing and education subsidiaries.
He co-led Egypt's national industrial digital transformation mega-project — aligning ministries, factories and suppliers on one execution roadmap with milestones, supplier scorecards and data-driven progress reporting to leadership. He has governed capital-intensive technology programmes for national energy assets, designed national KPI and index frameworks, and delivered enterprise-wide change under regulatory and security constraints.
His applied work spans BI dashboards, LLM pipelines, brand intelligence platforms and policy indices — including an 18-axis AI-industry interventions index across 12 countries. He holds a DBA in Digital Governance and Business Automation, an MBA in International Business, and serves as elected Technical Secretariat member of the World Energy Council Egypt Committee.
